Common Questions & Essential Information

Your Guide to a Seamless Stay Near Tallahassee

Planning your North Florida getaway should be as relaxing as the stay itself. To help you prepare for your visit, we’ve compiled the most frequent inquiries from our guests—covering everything from our clean bathhouses and high-speed Wi-Fi to FSU game day logistics and long-term worker rates. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, our friendly on-site team is always just a phone call away and ready to help.

Is the Wi-Fi strong enough for remote work or streaming?

Our Wi-Fi is great for basic remote work and standard browsing! You can easily check emails, handle work tasks, and stay connected with family. To ensure a good connection for all guests, high-bandwidth activities like 4K streaming or large file downloads may experience slower speeds during peak evening hours.

What are the rules for bringing pets?

We love, love, love pets and truly want you and your four-legged family members to come camp with us! Furry traveling companions are an essential part of the outdoor adventure, and we take pride in being a welcoming destination for pet owners. To ensure a safe, peaceful, and comfortable environment for every family and pet staying with us, we do maintain a few
practical pet restrictions, including site limits, leash and registration requirements, breed guidelines, and a policy strictly prohibiting vicious dogs of any kind, with management reserving the right at any time to determine if a dog is vicious or disruptive. Because we want your stay to be completely worry-free, we invite you to review our full pet policies in our Terms and
Conditions online or simply call our front office directly so our team can answer any specific questions about your pets before you arrive.

How do we access the laundry and bathhouse facilities?

Our laundry room and bathhouse facilities are open to all registered guests! Access is provided at check-in and open 24/7. Both facilities are centrally located near the campsites and cabins for your convenience.

Can we fish in the pond, and do we need a Florida permit?

Yes, guests are welcome to fish in our scenic pond! Because the pond is located entirely on private campground property, a Florida state fishing license is not required for our registered guests. Just bring your own rod and reel and enjoy a relaxing day by the water!

Do you provide grills or firepits at every site?

Fire pits and picnic tables are provided throughout the campground! Most individual RV and cabin sites feature their own dedicated fire ring and table. For safety and conservation reasons, ground fires outside of designated fire rings are not permitted. Portable propane grills are welcome at all sites!
